Recently, we were in Neve Yaakov and got to help an amazing cause. Our students do not just “do” Chessed.” Today, on an afternoon “off” our students performed a great chessed by helping a charitable organization in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Yerushalayim, box and organize new and imported clothing for the needy people in Yerushalayim.
Thanks to Sharfman’s students who are members of our exclusive Project L.I.V.E. (Learning in Israel Volunteering with Excellence) Club, hundreds upon hundreds of people will receive new suits and Shabbos attire just in time for the joyous Yom Tov that is Chanukah!
This was the perfect chessed opportunity to help us focus that much more on our growth throughout the year. We thank the school for arranging this special educational and chessed-related experience and look forward to going on more and more tiyulim and special events throughout the year!
