Global Shmiras HaLashon for Chaim Feigenbaum

One of the important topics that we learn about at Bnot Torah/Sharfman’s is the importance of Shmiras HaLashon – Guarding One’s Tongue. In fact, Rabbi Sharfman has reportedly given away hundreds of copies of Rabbi Pliskin’s book on this very topic with the hopes of enabling our speech to forever move in a positive direction. And yet, let’s be honest. Life moves fast and we may slip in this ever important area that we call: SPEECH.

As many of you know, people the world over are praying for the speedy recover of a young father and husband: Mr. Chaim Feigenbaum (Chaim Yissachar ben Chaya Mushkit). However, to all of us at Bnot Torah/Sharfman’s this is not simply another Jewish name that needs a Refuah Shelemah. Chaim, is the dear husband of Talia (Horwitz) Feigenbaum who attended our seminary in the year 2000. And so, we believe it is fitting to galvanize our over 1700 Alumnae to fill out this form and pledge an hour out of your day to vigilantly guard your speech in the zechus of a Refuah Shelemah for Chaim Yissachar ben Chaya Mushkit. We encourage you to pass this page on to your friends and family so that they may join in this worthy cause as well!

Below is a song written and sung by R’ Shlomo Katz entitled, Tfila L’Chaim Feigenbaum!
